RF Test Accessories

RF test accessories are the components between an instrument and the device under test: antennas, attenuators, directional couplers, power splitters and limiters, adapters, coupling networks and LISNs, detectors and noise sources, and RF switches.

Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, Siglent, Maury Microwave and TekBox cover the range. Frequency coverage is the first filter, but connector type and power handling are what usually determine whether a part is actually usable. Mixing connector families through adapters adds loss and reflection at exactly the frequencies where measurements get difficult, so it is worth specifying the correct interface from the start. For EMC pre-compliance work, LISNs and coupling networks need to match the standard you are testing against, since the impedance network is defined by the standard rather than chosen freely.
