RF Coupling Networks & LISN

Coupling networks and line impedance stabilisation networks present a defined, standard impedance to a device under test so that conducted emissions and immunity measurements are reproducible.

The essential point is that the impedance network is specified by the standard you are testing against rather than chosen freely, so identify the standard first and select the LISN to match. Current rating must cover the supply the equipment under test draws, and the mains voltage rating must suit your supply. Confirm whether you need a single-phase or three-phase network, and check the artificial hand or coupling clamp requirements for your product class.
