RF & Microwave Signal Generators
RF and microwave signal generators produce a known, controllable signal for testing receivers, mixers, filters and amplifiers.
Keysight, RIGOL, Tabor Electronics and Siglent cover this range. Frequency range and output level are the starting point, but phase noise is usually what separates instruments, since a generator noisier than the receiver under test cannot measure that receiver honestly. Decide whether you need analog modulation only, or vector modulation for digital formats, because retrofitting that capability is rarely possible. Frequency switching speed matters in production test where settling time multiplies across thousands of units. Tell us the frequency range and the modulation format.
