RF Power Sensors
RF power sensors convert radio frequency power into a reading, working with a meter or analyzer to measure transmitter output, amplifier gain and system losses.
Keysight, Bird and Anritsu cover this range. Sensor technology determines what you can measure: thermocouple and thermistor sensors are true average-responding and suit accurate continuous wave and complex modulated signals, while diode sensors offer far greater dynamic range and speed, and peak sensors capture pulsed and burst waveforms that an averaging sensor would understate. Confirm frequency coverage, power range and connector interface, and check whether the sensor is USB-connected or requires a dedicated power meter, since that changes the total cost.
