Environmental Testing

Environmental testing instruments measure the conditions around a process rather than the process itself: the gas in the air, the humidity in a cleanroom, the moisture in a resin, the air changes through a duct. This section groups gas detectors, air flow measurement, humidity and moisture instruments, pH and conductivity meters, and weather stations.

Gas detection is the largest part of the range, with RKI Instruments and BW Technologies covering portable single-gas and multi-gas personal monitors through to fixed installations. Dwyer Instruments and Cole-Parmer cover much of the air flow, humidity and water quality work. When specifying a gas detector, the sensor configuration matters more than the body: the same enclosure can be built for hydrogen sulphide, methane or oxygen deficiency, so tell us the target gas and the expected range and we will confirm the correct part number.
