Pneumatic Pressure

Pneumatic pressure calibrators and comparators generate and control gas pressure for checking gauges, switches and transmitters where no liquid may enter the instrument.

Pneumatic generation is preferred wherever the device under test must stay clean and dry, which includes oxygen service, medical gas and any instrument that will return to a gas process. Practical ranges extend to a few hundred bar, above which hydraulic generation becomes necessary. Look for a fine adjustment vernier, since settling exactly on a test point is what makes the work repeatable, and confirm the supply requirement if the unit needs external compressed gas.
