Calibration Instruments

Calibration instruments verify that the sensors, gauges and transmitters your process depends on still read what they claim to read. This section covers loop calibrators for 4-20 mA signal work, pressure calibrators from low differential ranges up to hydraulic deadweight territory, and temperature calibrators including dry-well and bath references.

The range includes Additel, Druck, Fluke and Fluke Calibration, Ametek Jofra and Martel, which between them cover most accredited calibration procedures in current use. Choosing between them usually comes down to three questions: the accuracy ratio you need against your device under test, whether the work happens in a temperature-controlled laboratory or on a plant walkdown, and whether you need documenting capability to close out an audit trail.
