Switches
Pressure, flow and level switches provide a simple electrical contact when a process variable crosses a setpoint, without needing a transmitter and controller.
Dwyer Instruments and Noshok cover this range. The specifications that decide selection are the adjustable setpoint range, the deadband or reset differential, and the contact rating, since a switch driving a motor contactor needs a very different rating from one signalling a PLC input. Confirm the wetted materials and process connection against your medium, and the area classification if the location is hazardous. Decide whether you need a single or double pole contact and whether it should be normally open or closed.
The Dwyer Instruments DPA-7043-153-65E is a double bellows differential pressure switch with a minimum deadband, designed for precise low-pressure sensing. Featuring a 316 stainless steel wetted body and rated up to 80 psid, this switch offers reliable performance in demanding industrial applications.
The Noshok 628-10000-1-1-H-14-44-CH is a 628 Series IS Hammer Union transmitter rated for 10,000 psi with 0.25% FS accuracy. It features a 4-20 mA output, Glenair connector, and is built with a stainless steel case and brass wetted parts for industrial reliability.
The Dwyer Instruments DS-241-2-11E is a fixed deadband Bourdon tube pressure switch designed for industrial applications. With an adjustable range of 100-1000 psig and SPDT contacts rated at 10A @ 120/240 VAC, it provides reliable pressure monitoring and control. Ideal for process instrumentation and automation systems.
