Pumps
Pressure pumps and comparators generate the pressure needed to check a gauge, switch or transmitter, either on the bench or in the field.
Additel, Crystal Engineering, Druck, Enerpac and Fluke cover this range. The first decision is pneumatic against hydraulic, because pneumatic hand pumps are practical to a few hundred bar while anything higher needs a hydraulic pump and an appropriate fluid. Check the fluid compatibility against the device you are testing, since introducing oil into an instrument intended for clean gas service can contaminate it permanently. A fine adjustment vernier is worth having, as it is what lets you settle exactly on a test point rather than approaching it repeatedly.
Druck PV411A 4-in-1 hand pump for pneumatic pressure to 60 bar, hydraulic pressure to 700 bar, and vacuum to -28.5 inHg.
Crystal Engineering M1-30PSI-BXX pneumatic pressure pump kit with -27 inHg to 30 psi range, reference gauge, fittings, seals, and carrying case.
