Distance to fault is the function that saves the most time, because it converts a reflection into a physical position along the run and points at the actual connector or crushed section rather than requiring the whole feeder to be inspected. Confirm frequency coverage matches your bands, and that the connector interface and phase-stable test cables are included, since a worn test lead produces exactly the reflections you are trying to find.
