PCR workstations and enclosures provide a contained, clean workspace for nucleic acid work, protecting samples from airborne contamination and the operator from aerosols.

Yamato supplies this range. Filtration and airflow define the protection: a HEPA-filtered laminar flow workstation protects the sample, while a ducted or carbon-filtered enclosure protects the operator, and the two are not interchangeable. Ultraviolet decontamination on a timer is standard for between-run sterilisation. Confirm internal working dimensions against your thermal cycler and pipetting setup, and check whether the unit needs ducting to outside air, since that determines where it can be installed.
