Rotary evaporators and concentrators remove solvent from a sample under reduced pressure, so that the liquid boils well below its atmospheric boiling point and heat-sensitive compounds survive.

Yamato covers this range. Flask capacity sets throughput, but the parts that determine whether the system actually works well are the condenser and the vacuum. Condenser geometry and coolant temperature set how much solvent you recover rather than lose to the pump, and a controlled vacuum gives reproducible boiling instead of bumping. Confirm whether the model includes the vacuum pump and chiller or expects you to supply them, since that changes both the price comparison and the bench space required.
