Probes

Clamp-on probes extend a meter or recorder to measure current without breaking the circuit, and are supplied separately from the instrument.

AEMC supplies this range. Compatibility with the host instrument is the first thing to confirm, because output type varies: some probes give a millivolt output proportional to current, others a scaled current, and they are not interchangeable. Jaw opening must fit the conductor, and flexible Rogowski coils are the practical answer for large busbars and awkward access. Confirm whether DC measurement is needed, since only Hall effect and Rogowski with integrator designs will read it.
