Sensors And Testers
Torque sensors and testers measure applied torque directly, either as a bench reference for checking tools or as a transducer built into a test rig.
Imada and Stahlwille cover this range. Rotary transducers measure torque on a turning shaft, while static or reaction sensors measure against a fixed mount and suit tool verification. Range selection matters more than headline accuracy, since a sensor operated in the lowest part of its span carries proportionally larger uncertainty. Confirm the drive or coupling interface, the direction of measurement required, and whether peak hold is needed to capture the maximum of a fast tightening event.
The Imada DI-4B-25 is a high-precision digital force gauge with a 0-4 inch (0-100 mm) measuring range and 0.0005 inch (0.01 mm) resolution. It features peak hold, data logging, and USB interface for reliable tension and compression measurement in industrial testing.
The Stahlwille 7728-100 is a precision digital torque wrench with a 1/2″ drive and 100 Nm capacity, featuring a patented adjustment mechanism for accurate, repeatable torque. Ideal for automotive and industrial applications, it includes a transducer and case for reliable calibration and measurement.
