Temperature Indicators

Temperature indicators display a reading from a connected probe without the control output of a calibrator or the logging of a recorder, serving as a panel or portable readout.

Ametek Jofra, Additel, Thermo, Ashcroft and EdgeTech cover this range. The important pairing is probe type against resolution, since an indicator quoting fine resolution adds nothing if the connected sensor is a general purpose thermocouple. Confirm whether the unit accepts thermocouples, RTDs or both, and whether it supports the specific thermocouple types on your plant. For panel mounting, check the cutout dimensions and whether a retransmission output or alarm relay is needed to pass the reading onward.
