Digital Thermometers

Digital thermometers combine a probe input with an electronic readout, covering everything from a pocket food thermometer to a reference readout used in calibration work.

Fluke Calibration, Fluke, Ametek, Newport and Cooper-Atkins cover this range. The specification chain to check is probe type, resolution and accuracy together, because a readout quoting hundredths of a degree paired with a general purpose thermocouple is limited by the probe, not the display. Thermocouples are robust and wide-range but less accurate, while RTDs and thermistors are far more accurate over narrower spans. Confirm whether you need a single input or dual for differential work, and whether datalogging is required.
