Ultrasonic Cleaners

Ultrasonic cleaners use cavitation in a liquid bath to remove contamination from small parts, reaching crevices that brushing cannot.

Branson and U.E. Systems cover this range. Tank capacity and internal dimensions come first, since the part must be fully immersed and suspended rather than resting on the tank floor, which damps cavitation and can erode the tank. Operating frequency is the specification most often overlooked: lower frequencies around 40 kHz give aggressive cleaning suited to heavy soils, while higher frequencies are gentler and better for delicate assemblies. Heating and a timer are worth having, as most solutions work better warm.
