Analog Pressure Gauges
Analog pressure gauges remain the most practical choice for local indication where no power is available and a glance at a dial is enough.
Dwyer Instruments, Wallace and Crystal Engineering cover this range. Select the range so that normal operating pressure sits near the middle of the dial, since a needle that barely leaves the peg wastes resolution and one close to full scale shortens the life of the movement. Confirm the wetted material and process connection against your medium, and specify whether you need a liquid-filled case, which damps needle flutter from vibration or pulsation and is standard practice on pumps and compressors. Dial size should suit the viewing distance.
The Dwyer Instruments 43000-5CM is a versatile Capsu-Photohelic switch/gauge combining a precise analog pressure gauge with adjustable high/low limit switches. With a 0-5000 psi range, 1/4 NPT connection, and rugged stainless steel construction, it delivers reliable performance in demanding industrial applications.
